The
importance of valuing ourselves and our work
HEALING WORDS by LOU BOGNON
MY
first column in The Ascension Times will focus on sharing insights
and words shared with those I am blessed to guide in their quest
for healing and returning to a state of wholeness.
Lynda, a dear friend, was suffering from a deep sense of inability
to value herself and her work. It was puzzling to me that such
a gifted person, who has assisted many grieving people to connect
with their departed beloved still had difficulty validating herself
and her exceptional gifts.
I advised her to shift the lenses of her perception and see that
she was Love - so her issues would simply fall away.
As Love - which is the core of you - nothing needs validating
at all. You are precious and validated beyond measure. As we forget
our true identity, others forget it too, for they mirror back
to us the image we hold of ourselves.
I also suggested that she review her consultation fees and increase
them to a more valuable level; this alone would allow her to work
less and earn more, thus valuing herself both as a gifted medium
and as a person who needs more time and space to nurture herself.
Lynda agreed with my suggestion, making me realise again that
we are all playing roles that we consider to be real, yet nothing
we do is real. The only reality is our Beingness - the eternal
immortal Love that gave us life.
