Grow
your prosperity consciousness
by CARONNE HARFORD
IT
is commonly held, according to mainstream media, that at a global
level we have entered a period of what the dictionary would define
as a "decline in trade and prosperity".
At an institutional level, there has been, over the past few years,
a great deal of greed, waste, abuse of nature and accumulation
of dead wood that only an exercise in the cutting back of superfluosity
could address. In this respect, a period of "recess" in which
to re-evaluate what is and what is no longer of value can be an
effective and important part of improving the quality of economic
performance.
At a holistic level, the "recession" can be viewed as a positive
and natural correction in the economy; a reallocation of resources
to a more efficient equilibrium. If viewed with the right mindset,
it can also be a period of great creativity, where management
may become more receptive to new and innovative ideas in order
to survive shifting market moods.
In times like these, smaller businesses are in a better position
to navigate the new pathways that are opened up, allowing for
stagnant resources to flow in different directions. Small businesses
are less weighed down by the structures and hierachies of corporations,
and are therefore often able to be more fluid and flexible. This
does not preclude larger businesses being equally adaptive.
Prosperity cannot cease. It shifts around and finds new avenues
of choice. Whether or not it finds its way to you is determined
by the story you are buying into. If you have accepted the media-perpetuated
belief that there is a decline in trade, you will align yourself
on a quantum energetic level to the type of people and business
opportunities that echo this same belief. There will be a recessionary
spirit in the way you present yourself in the business arena and
the world will respond to you in an equally recessionary manner;
all the while reinforcing your belief that there actually is a
decline in trade. As a result, there are many people who will
find themselves feeling at a loss to empower themselves against
the "certain" financial doom that awaits them.
Some people, however, inhabit the present moment and openly embrace
the shifting equilibrium. They do not waste their energies trying
to resist change and worrying about the future. They don't try
and look for new answers in old places.They remain still in the
heart of the chaos and keep an ear to the ground. They practice
the art of listening and of tapping in to the frequency of the
new tune of the world. They begin to resonate with everything
that defines what prosperity is: wealth, success and good fortune.
It is not the answer to look to our political leaders and ministers
to effect the changes we need to make inside ourselves. Our politicians
serve only to reflect the very same moral shortcomings we display
privately in our own families, households, communities and corporations
every day. So if there is to be "cleaning up" it needs to be done
at home, in the recesses of our own souls. It is our psyche we
need to address when we wish to effect real change in the realities
we inhabit.
From
quantum mechanics we learn that the part affects the whole and
from atomic science we learn about the power inherent in the tiniest
packet of energy. It is in the here and now of our being that
we hold the keys to make subtle energetic changes that can have
a huge impact on our lives, and the world that is subsequently
created in the field of our manifest existence.
Here is how to orientate yourself for prosperity consciousness
in recessionary times:
Maintain the integrity of your own mind;
Do not hook into other people's stories of negativity;
Refrain from consuming media that perpetuate negativity;
Create your reality from a fresh moments of optimism;
Do not panic;
Re-interpret apparent negativity with a positive perspective;
Eradicate fear and negative thoughts from your outlook;
Remain honest;
Be receptive to new sources of wealth and success; o
Do not preclude any new opportunity that comes your way;
o
Do not chase business - the business that is rightfully
yours will gravitate towards you;
Do not force old ideas onto a new market; o Maintain your
spiritual capital - keep your body and mind calm and buoyant,
maintain your commitment to your spiritual practice, practice
generosity and kindness; Listen to your customer, and be
prepared to be truly in service to their actual needs;
Be present in the now and operate from a point of contentment
(believing it is okay, rather than having the attitude of it isn't
enough); Reinforce your good luck through the practice
of gratitude; and o
Trust in the abundance of life.
