Many
herbs are good for your pets
BY
now I am sure that most pet owners have changed to a natural and
wholesome diet for their pets, be it buying from Vondi's or cooking
up a wholesome nutritious meal at home.
Over
the years there have been many pet food recalls and controversy
surrounding commercial pet food. Eleven pet food recalls in the
last 12 years is unacceptable and we can clearly see that these
"freak occurrences" are the rule and not the exception. In many
of the cases, it led to the fatal death of our precious beloved
companions.
The result is that pet lovers began to ask questions about what
goes into their pet food, how the dried pellets were made and
which brands they could trust. The marketing brilliance of the
multinationals, owners of the "premium" pet food brands was revealed.
They identified a gap in the South African market and targeted
the vets, kennels and breeders by convincing them that their product
was "totally balanced" and offering them exclusive selling rights,
knowing that these establishments had credibility within the community.
A lot has changed now and people are challenging the food recommendations
of their vets and doing their own research into alternative diets
and supply sources. The American Protection Institute for Animals
also recently published on their website a list of common medical
ailments resulting from feeding our pets processed dry food, year-in
and year-out.

Facts: What's Really in Pet Food?"
Vondi's
Holistic Pet is a registered nutritional pet food, naturally and
holistically formulated with no nasty preservatives. The ingredients
include freshly picked herbs. The medicinal and mineral wealth
of herbs is well documented. In the wild, dogs and cats graze
a variety of mineral enriched grass, flowers and herbs, instinctively
identifying the healing and cleansing agents that they contain.
It is not uncommon for domesticated pets to consume grass and
roots.
For this reason we include more than 20 freshly-picked herbs and
as a result have had amazing success in treating skin allergies
and eczema, bad breath, bladder disorders, obesity, eye ailments,
diabetes, cancer and nervousness.

destroy harmful bacteria in the animal's system and helps detoxify
the body. It also tones lymphatic cells and helps purify the bloodstream

wounds, colds, depression, eczema, dandruff, hair loss, headaches,
heart palpitations, muscle spasms, rheumatism and sores. It also
produces shiny coats and eyes.

fight infection, poor digestion, lung infections and skin inflammation.
It is also an eye strengtherner.
